In the kitchen with the kids! We roll up our sleeves and make delicious jam tarts for snacks.
The ingredients for about twenty tarts
- 180 g flour
- 40 g sugar
- 15 g grated coconut
- 90 g soft butter
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 jar of cinnamon plum or apricot-orange blossom quetsche jam
- Tart moulds
- A rolling pin
The steps of the recipe
Preheat your oven to 180 °C, rotary heat function.
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, grated coconut and salt.
Add the diced soft butter and then the egg until you have a homogeneous paste.
Flour your worktop, roll out the dough with a rolling pin about 3 mm.
Cut out discs of 5 cm in diameter. You can use a small coffee cup if you don't have a cookie cutter.
Place the discs of dough in small tartlet moulds and prick the bottom with a fork.
Bake for about 12 minutes, depending on your oven, until the tarts are golden brown. Leave them to cool on a wire rack when they come out of the oven.
Lightly heat the jam in a saucepan and let it cool.
Spread the jam in each tartlet and place them in the refrigerator.
Now it's time to taste them! The most difficult thing is not to devour everything at once.
